Hello, My name is Margo Martin and I became acquainted with the Abyssinian cat in 1993 when a friend gave me a kitten that was part Abyssinian. That kitten and I became the best of friends. For 2 years we were inseparable. I had her trained to a harness so we could walk together. She was my constant companion, riding in the car with me when ever I went out. We slept together and she helped me make beds and vacuum. She loved to cook and sew with me. We never missed a meal together. One night she got out and sadly we think a coyote killed her. After a period of time I got two kittens from a friend. They were very sweet but not like my Petals. So I bought my first Abyssinian and then several more. Indeed they have all the wonderful qualities of Petals, plus they enjoy company and will greet my guests with love and kisses.

You probably understand by now what love and respect we have for our cat "people." We keep our cats indoors unless on a harness or a leash [and we ask that you do the same.] I spend up to 8 hours a day caring for my Abbys and Somalis, making toys and cleaning for them. My cats are not caged and have free reign in the house and are part of every moment of our day. When I ask a $800.00 for a kitten and $1000 to $1200 for show kitten it is very little in compensation for all my time, efforts and involvement with them. Breeders are also available in approved cases. I have a folder full of letters and cards from delighted new owners of my cats telling me how wonderful and affectionate they are. NOTE** The health of our kittens is guaranteed and we reserve the right to 1. Refuse to sell our babies to people in situations we consider unacceptable and 2. Reclaim a cat from a bad situation should it come to our attention.
